Mel's Hope is named after Detective Melvin Vincent Santiago, a fallen Jersey City Police Officer who was tragically killed in the line of duty on July 13, 2014 (posthumously promoted to detective). Enza's Coffee is proud to donate a portion of the sales of Mel's Hope to mym2650.org, a non-profit organization that was established in memory of Detective Melvin Vincent Santiago. Their mission is to promote a positive police image and help improve lives by bridging the gap between law enforcement and the community through acts of goodwill and charitable giving.
